Sushi Restaurant Strategy Overview

Cooking Fever's Sushi restaurant has a nice assortment of ingredients to serve your customers.  You can create Avacodo, Tuna, or Salmon sushi, topped with soy sauce, wasabi and/or ginger.  One of the challenges of the Sushi restaurant is that the customers are pretty impatient and the refill rate of the Tea and Rice is incredibily slow.  Fortunately, several Interior and Kitchen upgrades are non-gem and inexpensive and can be done right away.  By Level 6, it will be increasingly difficult to advance the Levels unless you ugrade your Teapot and Rice Cooker to Level 2.  Upgrade your Kitchen Tabletop, Sushi Cabinet and Trays as soon and as often as you can.  This will allow you to prepare food in advance.

See the Strategy and Upgrade Tips at the bottom of this page for more insider tricks to passing levels.

Level Guide

Use this level guide to help develop your playing strategy.

Number of Guests - This number can be an indicator of how much people will order and what they may be ordering.  After Level 15, a low number of guests might mean that they will be ordering multiple menu items or it could be an indicator that there won't be enough earnings to get 3 stars unless you hand out treats or increase the price of the popular items.  A high number of guests might be an indicator that many guests will be just ordering beverages or an add-on item instead of the main dishes.

First Orders - These are the first food items that customers will be ordering when the Level starts.  There is a slight delay before the first customer shows up, so use this information to prepare their orders in advance and get a jump start on the level.

Popular Foods - These are menu items that are ordered often during the level.  Prepare these items in advance and store them on your Tabletop or on warmers so that they are ready to hand out as soon as they are ordered.  Upgrading these items before starting the level can also increase your level earnings.

Noteworthy - This is extra information that might be helpful during the level.

Strategy and Upgrade Tips

  • Continually click on your Soup Pot machine throughout the level so that it is always refilling the Seafood Soup.  Keep it fully stocked at all times and click on it even when its already full.  It doesn't refill itself automatically like the Teapot.
  • Before starting your first level, you should upgrade all Kitchen and Interior non-gem items
  • The Teapot is VERY slow to refill; upgrade your Teapot  to Level 2 as soon as possible
  • The Rice Cooker is VERY slow to refill; upgrade your Rice Cooker to Level 2 as soon as possible
  • Customers are very impatient in this restaurant; upgrade Interior items that improve wait time and tip time.

Questions, tricks or tips?

If you have any questions or want to share some strategy tips for the Sushi Restaurant in Cooking Fever, please share them in the comments section below.

What is the Sushi Cabinet, where is it located and how do I use it?  The Sushi Cabinet is an extra spot in the Kitchen to store pre-made sushi.  It has a clear display top and is located at the top of the counter (below the customers).  Each cabinet can only hold 1 prepared sushi.  It is a good place to put a sushi if you accidentally made the wrong one; and hopefully another customer will come along that wants it.  It is also a good place to put several of the most popular sushi for that level.
